Chancellor Arreaza: Colombia has provided territory and support to generate violence in Venezuela

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, reiterated his denounce regarding the Colombian government’s maneuver to lend itself to facilitate its support for mercenaries with the aim of generating violence in the Venezuelan territory.
His point was made through his Twitter account, referring to the publication made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia in which they refuse to participate in criminal acts against the border military battalion in Venezuela.
“Since his first day of government, Iván Duque and his team have provided Colombian territory and provided support and training to mercenaries to generate violence in Venezuela. Denying it today is useless. We have sent you proof, evidences, and they continue in the conspiracy”, emphasizes the Venezuelan Chancellor.
He also noted that in a recording leaked by Colombian media, the Colombian minister lamented that undercover operations do not work against the Bolivarian Government and called for new strategies to attack Venezuela.
This Monday, at a press conference from Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the sectoral vice president for Communication, Tourism, and Culture, Jorge Rodríguez, denounced that the governments of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil are following the plan to assault the Mariano Montilla Battalion of Jungle Infantry, south of the national territory, by lending their territories to conduct meetings, trainings and plan all criminal action.
In addition, he revealed that this action was aimed at creating a false positive that would serve as a “cause of war” for the United States Government and thus justify an invasion.
