President Maduro highlighted civic-military union on Student Day

The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday the civic-military union of the Venezuelan youth, in commemoration of National Student Day, in order to conquer peace and defend sovereignty:
“I ask you to remember in your hearts the union of youth; seal the military civic union, conquer peace and defend sovereignty, and work to make everything change and improve. Work and fight so that our dreams of patriotic power are fulfilled, fight until we reach the goal. Unite the whole national spirit into a whole”, he said in a joint radio and television broadcast.
During his speech at the rally that reached the Paseo Los Próceres (Heroes Stroll), after touring several sectors of the city of Caracas, the head of state said that the mobilization of this November 21 sealed this union with the Venezuelan education sector.
The national dignitary urged the students in their day to continue training and work “in order to change and improve” for the development of the country and the consolidation of a potential nation, he said, while stressing being at the forefront of the struggles of the students.
He said that the students of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela gathered in the Los Symbols square in Caracas, to await for the youth of the other houses of study of the country to march together, added Maduro.
The international student march was also held within the context of the first International Youth and Student Congress, which was installed this Wednesday at the Alba Caracas Hotel, and which will run until November 23.
