President Maduro: We will go to parliamentary elections with the greatest guarantees

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, informed this Thursday that the process of forming a new directive of the National Electoral Council (CNE) is centered on the dialogue undertaken with the opposition, in order to establish the greatest guarantees for the parliamentary elections of 2020.
He explained that the intention of this initiative agreed with the sectors that make life in the National Assembly (AN) in contempt, is to organize the elections to renew the legislative power and conquer peace for the entire country.
He said that they are going to a process for a new CNE «to organize with greater guarantees the parliamentary elections of 2020 and thus comply with the country’s electoral schedule,» said the head of state during the inauguration of the 6th Criminalistics Expo-2019.
