Vice President Rodríguez assures neoliberal measures will not return to Venezuela

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said the neo-liberal measures that were once applied by governments that got aligned with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), will not return to the country:
“The people marched against the IMF, against that pretense the neoliberal model has of imposing their policies, that will not happen in Venezuela”, she said.
During the inauguration of the 1st Air Expo Aragua 2019, Rodríquez said that the people are marching in rejection of these measures that the presidents of those countries – Haiti, Ecuador, Chile – have imposed as an order by the IMF.
On the other hand, she showed support for the people of Bolivia and their reelected president, Evo Morales, who yesterday denounced an ongoing coup d’etat by the right wing of that country, not acknowledging Morales’s victory.
“Today it is a holiday in Venezuela, we saw the ratification of the triumph of our brother Evo Morales, that is a victory for the countries of the South”, she said.
