The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, manifested this Wednesday that, despite the economic blockade imposed by the United States (USA) against the country, investment in science and technology is guaranteed.
During a meeting with representatives of the country’s science and technology sector that took place in the Bicentennial Square, located at Miraflores Palace, the National President announced that the scientific community will receive a bonus in Petro (cryptocurrency) as part of a support due to the economic war.
Likewise, he approved a series of resources for the scientific-technological impulse of the country, among them 650,790,321 million bolivars for the realization of the “Seedlings of Young Scientists” Meeting, through the National Plan of Technological Innovation 2019.
