Venezuela ratifies its commitment to the right to food of the peoples of the world

The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified through his account on Twitter the commitment of the Venezuelan nation to work to guarantee the right of the people to alimentation.
Venezuela belongs to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) since its founding in 1945, under Decree No. 35,003 published in the Official Gazette, in July 1992.
Ensuring alimentary security:
The main objective of FAO is to achieve a world in which alimentary security prevails, raising levels of nutrition and improving agricultural productivity.
Thus, the social policies implemented by the Bolivarian government of President Nicolás Maduro are framed in actions to guarantee the food of the Venezuelan people, despite the coercive measures imposed by the United States, which has hindered the sacred right to alimentation.
