Venezuela denounces repeated airspace violations

The chief of the Operational Strategic Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Remigio Ceballos, denounced the repeated violations of Venezuela’s airspace by aircraft of the United States.
Through the Twitter social network, the Ceofanb reported that during September the radars of the Integral Aerospace Defense Command have detected at least 54 unauthorized flights by radioelectronic exploration aircraft of the US into the national territory.
Previously, the Venezuelan authorities denounced the violation of their airspace by devices from the northern nation in the Maiquetía flight information region.
Last July 19, the Integral Aerospace Defense Command System intercepted an intelligence aircraft, belonging to the United States Navy which, in violation of international treaties, had invaded the Bolivarian territory.
Likewise in May, a US ship that was traveling near the port of La Guaira was expelled from territorial waters, one day after its transit through an exclusive Venezuelan economic zone was detected.
