The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that on this Tuesday’s afternoon, 1 million signatures of the “No More Trump!” protest journey have been collected, in rejection of the sanctions imposed by the US empire against Venezuela.
During the sixth anniversary of the System of Missions, Great Missions and Micro Missions held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, in Caracas, the National President said that “Venezuela is facing a battle to overcome the perversity of the US government and the lackey imperialism”.
In the activity, he stressed that has come a new stage of great demand in the development of responsibilities and much effort to protect the Venezuelan people from imperial attacks.
The Executive Order issued by Donald Trump on August 7 freezes all the assets of Venezuela in his country and prevents both nations from making commercial transactions, the measure breaks all legal statutes and human rights established by the United Nations Organization (UN) . Countries such as Germany, Brazil, Portugal, China, Russia, Namibia, France, Bolivia, Portugal have expressed their support for the protest journey.
