Missions and Great Missions System celebrated its 6th anniversary (+ Announcements)


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the event celebrating the 6th anniversary of the National System of Missions, Great Missions and Socialist Micro Missions.
This system, created on August 7, 2013 by the Bolivarian Revolution, strengthens the social programs and policies implemented by the National Executive for the benefit of the people; prioritizing the most vulnerable sectors, victims of the economic war promoted by the current government of the United States (US), with support from the national right wing.
In the activity, the Head of State made several announcements in this area:
1.- As of today the Great Mission Knowledge and Work is assumed by the Great Mission “Chamba Juvenil” (Youth Job). This measure will fulfill the purpose of focusing a single effort in labor matters thus providing the possibility that more Venezuelans and Venezuelans are integrated into the work areas throughout the national territory.
2.- The goal of reinventing and creating new mechanisms was established to reach zero poverty levels that have been fought by the Bolivarian Revolution for 20 years, when poverty rates in the country exceeded 80% and misery a 40%. This figure has been reduced thanks to the efforts with social impetus and equity that the revolutionary government system has.
3.- Was inaugurated an integral veterinary center of (Veterinary) Mission Nevado in La Guaira. This new center, which will serve western La Guaira, is the second to be opened and is number 24 nationwide, said the governor of the entity, Jorge García Carneiro.
4.- Gero-farms are being consolidated in 33 residences for the elderly to strengthen local production.
5.- Was rehabilitated the “Pedro Zaraza” CDI (Integral health care center) to guarantee care of the people of Guárico state. The healthcare center, rehabilitated thanks to the timely action of the National Government, has 14 medical areas, including general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and dentistry.
6.- Vaccination Journey against Poliomyelitis will be extended two more weeks in order to meet the goal set by the National Government.
