Venezuela will take to the UN manifest that urges to pronounce against Trump blockade

This Thursday the head of state presented a sheet that will be distributed in the communities of the country in order to collect signatures that will accompany a manifesto to be sent to the United Nations (UN), and thus denounce the political and economic aggressions by the USA.
“Next Saturday, August 10 starts the world journey of protest against Donald Trump and its blockade measures that make the people of Venezuela suffer, with a single slogan: “No more Trump‘. Enough of making Venezuela suffer, enough of blockade, get your hands off Venezuela, Donald Trump”, said the president.
He indicated that within the sheet is a manifesto addressed to the Secretary General of this multilateral organization, António Guterres, urging him to pronounce himself against the recent coercive measures by the Trump administration, which aims to block the assets of the South American country in the United States:
“It is a manifesto addressed to the UN and its secretary, António Guterres, that we will carry with millions of signatures of Venezuelans”, while urging the people to reproduce them in the fields and communities of the country.
President Maduro called this Thursday on Venezuelans to join the journey that will begin this Saturday, August 10, in rejection of the unilateral and illegal measures of the United States Government (US), led by Donald Trump, against the country:
“(It is) a day of world protest. Do join, incorporate, as a Venezuelan. Venezuela has the right to the future, for our self-determination to build its own political, economic, and cultural model to be respected. The problems of Venezuelans must be solved among Venezuelans, nobody should get their hands, and even less Donald Trump”, he said.
The US Government with the arrival of Donald Trump to the presidency began to take a series of unilateral measures with which he seeks to subdue Venezuela. Washington’s decisions force international banks to block the resources of the Republic destined for the acquisition of food and medicine. They also prevent service providers from negotiating with the National Government, among other illegal restrictions.
