The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, mentioned that he joins the world protest day called by the Great Patriotic Pole directed against the US president, Donald Trump, on August 10:
“I join the convocation of the Venezuelan people, a thousand forms of protest in the world, on social networks, and so the truth be known”, he said during the ceremony in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Boyacá.
He urged to show through social networks “our dignity and strength, let’s join with a writing, a video, a documentary. We’re going to do it for Venezuela”, he stressed.
The initiative is part of the activities planned in rejection of the executive order issued last Monday by Trump, which seeks to formalize the blocking of all assets and properties of the Venezuelan state in the United States.
