The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced in a press conference that deputy Juan Guaidó forms an organized crime band along with the Canadian company Crystallex.
In this particular detailed that it is an illegal operation of the Crystallex company against assets of the country: “Crystallex never had mining rights, never had legitimate titles or property over the Las Cristinas mine, one of the largest gold mines on our continent”, he warned.
During her statements on this operation, she stressed that those responsible for these illegal acts are members of the Voluntad Popular party, (who act) in order to appropriate the resources of the nation.
From the Simón Bolívar Press Room of Miraflores Palace in Caracas, Rodríguez said: “We have evidences of how opponents considered taking over Citgo’s resources”.
She added that “it is a complete violation of International Law. The United States has become one of the most dangerous countries for foreign investment, because of how it wants to take over Venezuela’s assets”.
