Jorge Rodríguez: We continue in the dialogues and ratify full respect for the established guidelines


The head of the delegation of the Bolivarian Government and Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodriguez, said on Thursday that “we continue in the dialogues and ratify the full respect for the established guidelines. We exhort everyone to take care of this negotiation effort among Venezuelans”.
This was expressed by the spokesman when referring to a statement issued by the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, and which Rodriguez posted on his account of the Twitter social network @jorgerpsuv, a publication he accompanied with the tag #DialogoAvanza (Dialogue advances).
Rodriguez manifested after the request made by the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ine Eriksen Soreide, of that the parties must be cautious in their statements regarding the process at the negotiation table in Barbados, in order to comply with the agreed rules for dialogue.

Communiqué regarding Venezuela:
“We inform that the representatives of the main political actors of Venezuela continue the negotiations initiated in Oslo in the framework of a table that works continuously and expeditiously.
We emphasize the need for the parties to take the utmost caution in their comments and statements regarding the process, in compliance with established guidelines. For the sake of the negotiations, it is important that the parties be given the necessary space to move forward in a constructive environment and that the confidentiality of the process be respected by all.”
“I hope that the parties will progress in the search for sustainable solutions for all Venezuelans. I reiterate my gratitude to the Government of Barbados for its hospitality”, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Ine Eriksen Soreide, through this document.
