The commander-in-chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on Wednesday to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the military corps, in order to prepare to consolidate peace in the country and the defense of the nation’s sovereignty:
“We go every day to strengthen the union, cohesion and loyalty of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces”, said the head of state during the act of transmission of command of the components of the FANB, carried out in the Court of Honor of the Military Academy in Caracas.
He indicated that as long as the civic-military union is maintained as a fundamental pillar of the FANB, the victory for peace, integrity and stability of the nation will always be consolidated.
In this regard, he pointed out that this Bolivarian National Armed Force is prepared for “the victory of peace to which our people are entitled, prepared to defend legitimate institutions and stability. A FANB prepared to defend the border, territorial integrity and sovereign rights”.
