25th Sao Paulo Forum will discuss in Venezuela multiform aggression against countries of the region

The 25th edition of the Sao Paulo Forum will be held from the 25th to the 28th this month in Caracas, it will be a favorable scenario to debate about the impact of the economic and multiform aggression imposed by the government of the United States (USA) against Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. This was reported on Tuesday by Roy Daza, member of the International Affairs Committee of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
He also noted that “the threats of military invasion that the US government maintains over the country will be addressed,” and the contradictions of the so-called Lima group, regarding the announcement made by the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), of calling this region -Suramerica- as a Zone of Peace.
He indicated that the Sao Paulo Forum is a 30 years old political entity where are all the movements of the left wing of Latin America and the Caribbean, in statements to the press after departing a PSUV meeting that took place in the Salón Rouge from the Alba Caracas Hotel, with the purpose of coordinating the preparations for this Forum.
He stressed the need to discuss the process of dialogue between the National Government and the opposition, an activity that continues this week in Barbados:
“One of the approaches that will bring to the Forum is precisely the deepening of this diplomatic and political initiative that, of course, we applaud”, he said.
Daza explained that to date the presence of more than 700 international delegates has been confirmed and an even greater number is expected in the next two weeks:
“We have the confirmation of progressive political parties from Africa, from Arab countries, from important political parties in Asia and the European left wing party which is a federation of 28 parties”, as announced the political leader.
