This Friday the National Government repudiated through a statement issued by the Venezuelan chancellery, the personalist measures against the constituent Nicolás Maduro Guerra, announced by the administration of the president of the United States, Donald Trump.
In his Twitter account, Chancellor Jorge Arreaza, points out that these measures against the Constituent Assembly are announced with the obscure purpose of customizing the attack by the US government.

“The Venezuelan Government and the people, firmly repudiate the continued aggressions by the Trump administration that seek to undermine, unsuccessfully, the spirit and the will of a people determined to take the reins of their own destiny. On this occasion, they announced illegal measures against constituent Nicolás Ernesto Maduro Guerra, with the obscure purpose of personalizing the continued attack on the Bolivarian Revolution and the leadership of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Faced with the continuous failures of the Trump administration in their unstoppable attempts to overthrow the constitutional government of President Nicolás Maduro, they try to affect their tranquility by directly attacking members of their family. This disreputable attitude demonstrates the capricious nature and the absolute lack of rigor of the financial control institutions of the United States.
The Venezuelan people is the direct son of temperament and the independence and libertarian will of Simón Bolívar, an example of moral integrity and ability to resist the most artful attacks. Likewise, the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, who was the target of the most vicious imperialist attacks against his person and his quality as a leader, is gaining increasing validity in this new imperial onslaught.
They must take into consideration the enemies of the Venezuelan Homeland, that any attempt to violate the ethical and political quality of President Maduro, becomes an inexhaustible fuel for a people in battle, willing to stay on the irreducible path of its sovereignty and its irrevocable independence . The Venezuelan State ratifies that it will take action in the international system to neutralize these illegal and immoral measures of the ruling and supremacist elite that, for now, rules in the United States.”
