The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, said that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) returned to its role of instrumentalizing Venezuelan migration.
The phrase was published in his personal account on the Twitter social network, where he denounced that “they lie and inflate figures to ask for and receive more resources with uncertain destiny, in the midst of a parasitic scramble, at the expense of the dignity and human rights of Venezuelans”, said the chancellor.
In a series of tweets, the also foreign minister stressed that “after the failure of the coup d’état against Venezuela”, the opinion matrix on migration that had disappeared from the media since January will be resumed:
“The defeat and despair leads them to recycle issues, re-adequating the obsessive aggression against the country”, he said.
He also expressed that it is paradoxical that from the Colombian Guajira express concern for Venezuelans being this, in his opinion, “a territory subject to extreme poverty and abandoned by the Colombian State, where thousands of children have died from malnutrition.”

“They could at least choose better the scenarios of the Show. It is extremely paradoxical to express concern for Venezuelans from the Colombian Guajira, a territory devastated by extreme poverty and abandoned by the Colombian State, where thousands of children have died from malnutrition “
