Venezuela exported on Wednesday 50 metric tons of cocoa

This Wednesday, 50 metric tons of cocoa grains were exported to Indonesia, thanks to the partnerships between the private sector and the Governor’s Office of the Bolivarian State of Miranda, in order to continue carrying out actions that contribute to weaken the impact of the economic and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States:
“Miranda state has established itself as the leading exporter of cocoa of highest quality and aroma, which positions it as the main exporter of this product in Venezuela”, said the governor of the entity, Hector Rodriguez.
Venezuelan lands currently produce 19,000 tons of cocoa per year, with this item having an export potential of 13,000 tons per year.
