President Maduro accuses John Bolton of directing a coup d'etat in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Wednesday to the Security Adviser of the United States Government, John Bolton, for leading the maneuvers of the failed coup d’etat perpetrated on Tuesday by the Venezuelan far right wing against the Venezuelan constitutional Government.
“He was a nervous wreck because they had planned the coup d’etat. They say that officials of the High Military Command were negotiating with them to surrender the country”, assured the President of the Republic.
He also reported that the leaders of the Venezuelan opposition again deceived Donald Trump: “The coup plotters deceived the US government saying that Maduro was going to leave, and that he did not leave because the Russians took me off the plane”, said Maduro. He emphasized that “imperialism got it wrong again”.
The Head of State said that the Venezuelan right wing wanted to divide the Chavista people so that they turn around and hand over the President of the Republic, “but they will not achieve it,” said President Maduro, and he asked the Venezuelan people that, if any morning they ever got up. with the news that there is a coup d’état in the country, must take to the streets just as they did on this occasion.
Maduro called to severely punish the betrayal, and emphasized: “I will never betray the people of Chávez”, swore President Maduro before the people.
He made public these statements on Wednesday, during his participation in the popular rally at Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, on the occasion of International Workers Day.
