Venezuela denounces new violation of the UN Charter by the US

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced on Wednesday a new violation of the Charter of the United Nations (UN) by the United States.
Through a message in his account on the Twitter social network, the high official shared Article 24 of the UN Charter that states: “Members in their international relations shall refrain from resorting to the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State, or in any other way incompatible with the Purposes of the UN”.
The Chancellor’s message is released after the new unfruitful actions of the Venezuelan right wing perpetrated on Tuesday and the statements of the Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, in which he assures that his country does not rule out a military intervention in Venezuela.
