Plan for recovery, stabilization and shielding of the National Electric System is advancing


The Sectoral Vice President of Communications, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodriguez, reported Wednesday that the action plan to recover, stabilize and shield the National Electric System (SEN) is progressing positively.
In statements to the press, Rodriguez reported that the affectation of the electricity service that was registered the night of this Tuesday, April 9, in a large part of the national territory, was due to a failure in the equipment that, as a result from the constant recent attacks. are in a state of deterioration.
“Last night at 11:20 p.m., there was a load failure due to the deterioration product of the terrorist attack. Immediately the Corpoelec team went out to solve and we are already providing service throughout the entire territory”, he said.
The senior official reiterated that currently an intensive 30-day plan is being developed, which is being executed 24 hours a day by teams of Corpoelec.
“These are journeys of 24 hours, 7 days a week. Journeys of workers who do not rest to have the consolidation, the balance, to provide an optimal electricity service in Venezuela”, he said.
From the Air Base in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state, the also Minister for Communication and Information called on the population to contribute to the consolidation of the service by making efficient use of electric power.
