Maduro: In Venezuela will not enter any invading soldiers

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized on Monday night that “here in Venezuela will not enter anybody, because we are men and women who defend our Homeland. I can assure you that”.
He also indicated that “our independence was not given to us by anyone, our independence was won by our own pulse, strength and sweat”.
In this way he reaffirmed his position for the defense of sovereignty, and has also called for dialogue with the opposition, as he asserted that in Venezuela “no invading soldier will enter, as if this country would not have anyone who loves it, who will defend it” .
In this context, the president rejected the communiqué of the self-styled Lima Group, in which they exhorted the Venezuelan military to support Juan Guaidó as executor of the coup d’etat against the government.
The Head of State also denounced that is being implemented a psychological war against the people of Venezuela, with the goal of destabilizing the country.
In his opinion, there has been imposed an ideological and political inquisition of the countries that make up the so-called Lima Group against Venezuela: “But in Venezuela there will be no coup d’etat, in our country peace will prevail”, he said.
On the other hand, he said: “We say to Donald Trump, as a people of peace, that we have no fear of his threats. Trump’s statement is criminal and threatening, (it is) very regrettable that the Venezuelan right wing applauds him with a gringo flag”.
This information was provided during his participation in a meeting with intellectuals from various parts of the world, held at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, in Caracas, the event was named from the slogan “We are Venezuela for Democracy and Peace.”
