The Full Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), decreed on Tuesday precautionary measures against the deputy of the National Assembly in contempt and legal nullity, Juan Guaidó, in response to the request of the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, made earlier.
The president of the TSJ, Maikel Moreno, informed of the decision with which is given admission and competence to the request of the prosecutor regarding the investigation and the precautionary measures he requested against Guaidó.
For this reason, the Supreme Court agreed and declared “prohibition of leaving the country without authorization until the investigation is completed; prohibition of transferring and encumbering goods of his property, and the blockade and immobilization of bank accounts and / or any other financial instrument within Venezuelan territory”.
Saab opened on Tuesday an investigation to the representative of the Voluntad Popular (Popular Will) party, Juan Guaidó.
He denounced that this opposition deputy “has led an entire attack on the Venezuelan homeland. He is responsible for the events that have damaged the peace of the Republic, our economy and the national heritage”, he said, referring to Guaidó’s illegal self-proclamation as” interim President “on January 23.
