Revolution is stronger and more united than ever

“In 20 years, where is the Venezuelan opposition? What have they done and what have they conquered? Who is their leader and their strength? Is the opposition an alternative of power in Venezuela? Do they have reliable political parties? Do they have a government program? 20 years later the opposition is divided, weaker, and that is why they conspire”.

The reflection corresponds to the Head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who before the plenary of the Bolivarian Congress of Peoples, held in Caracas, spoke about the consolidation of revolutionary forces in recent years and the country’s current political scenario:

“Despite the physical departure of Commander Hugo-Chávez, 20 years later, where are the revolutionary forces? Where are the Chavista forces? Where are us Bolivarians? Stronger and more united than ever! In power, and from power transforming Venezuela, protecting the people”, he said.

But the growth of patriotic forces – after two decades of struggle – also transcends borders, since Venezuela has become a beacon that presents Latin America and the Caribbean with an option of independence, sovereignty and popular democracy.

Given this scenario, the President invited the Venezuelan people to draw their own conclusions and start a new revolutionary stage in 2019:

“A new beginning, a new spirit, to face with the Homeland Plan and with new methods the great challenges that has our country. There are many things we need to improve on”, he said.

Likewise, the President invited the youth to prepare themselves to take control of the free, prosperous and happy Homeland that they will inherit in the coming years.
