In another message, Arreaza said that President Maduro never considered attending such an event, and showed the response sent by Venezuela to Brazil.

“President Nicolás Maduro never considered attending the possession of a government like that of Jair Bolsonaro. This is the firm official response that we sent to Ernesto Faraujo through the Chancellory of Brazil on December 12”, said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil is informed that the Socialist, Revolutionary and Free Government of Venezuela will never attend the inauguration of a president that is the expression of intolerance, of fascism and of the surrendering of interests contrary to the Latin American and Caribbean integration”, refers the communication.
