Municipal elections culminate with complete normalcy and in a successful manner

The Minister for Interior, Justice and Peace, Néstor Reverol, confirmed that there were no serious events in the municipal council elections this Sunday:

“Another electoral process that culminates successfully! We have culminated a successful electoral journey where the people once again demonstrated to the world that we are a civic, sovereign people, Defenders of Peace!”, He stressed.

He indicated that the only irregular event occurred in Táchira state when a paraglider fell into a high-voltage line, which caused the suspension of electric service.

Reverol congratulated the Venezuelans “for exercising their political rights within a participatory and protagonist democracy”.

Moreover, for the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, the municipal council elections have been a victory for the Venezuelan people and democracy:

“It has been a victory for the people and the democracy of Venezuela. Congratulations for allowing to celebrate in peace these elections that come to close an electoral cycle that has been held in Venezuela to boost our own democracy”, he said.
