Maduro: We have developed brotherhood relationships with Turkey

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed on Tuesday that “We have developed relations of brotherhood with Turkey to strengthen the construction of solid foundations in economic matters, beyond 2020”.

This was stated from his official account on the Twitter social network. As it might be remembered, Venezuela and Turkey strengthen ties of bilateral cooperation. The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, highlighted on Monday the relations of bilateral cooperation that exist between both nations.

Both leaders offered a press conference from Miraflores Palace, in the city of Caracas, where they affirmed they have advanced in different topics to take important steps between both nations.

The Turkish president said that in recent years have been reached better levels in the approach of relations, in military and political matters, which can be improved and thus increase their intensity.

For his part, the Venezuelan president thanked the visit of his Turkish counterpart, or whoever will maintain the commitment in the development of cooperation for 2025-2030: “Be assured, president, that we are committed, that this will not be left on paper, but it will become a reality”, said the Head of State.
