President Maduro met with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, met Friday evening with Deputy Assistant Minister for Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hojattalah Soltaní, in order to build strategic alliances with the Islamic country .

The meeting took place in Hall I of Miraflores Palace, in Caracas. The Iranian representative arrived at the government house accompanied by the Venezuelan chancellor, Jorge Arreaza:

“A fruitful working meeting with Hojattolah Soltaní, Assistant Deputy Minister for America, special envoy of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hasan Rohaní. We advance in the construction of strategic alliances for the development of our peoples”, said the head of state in a message on the Twitter digital network.

During the 19 years of the Bolivarian Revolution, Venezuela and Iran have established several alliances in energy, agriculture, education, trade, industry, housing, culture and sports, as reported Presidential Press in a bulletin.
