Rodríguez asks Government of Spain to initiate investigation on Venezuelan politicians living in that country

The Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Tourism and Culture and Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, invited the Government of Spain to initiate an investigation on the (Venezuelan) politicians living in that European country: «We want that, if there are corrupt people there, who even come out declaring in The New York Times, if they are corrupt people who stole money from Venezuela, we want them to be delivered to us, we will impute them indeed, based on what is established in this Constitution and the laws of the Republic», he emphasized.

From a press conference in Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez stressed that the National Government has zero tolerance with the corrupts: «The Government of Spain may wonder where Antonio Ledezma gets 3.5 million euros to buy a house, if this vagrant has never worked, not even when he was Mayor, and the last salary he earned was 4,200 bolivares fuertes, not even if he had saved for 8 generations with that salary he could not have bought even the bottle of wine he consumed in that pub 2 days ago», he denounced.

Rodriguez made reference that Julio Borges, a fugitive of the Venezuelan justice and political asylee of Colombia, does not care if they invade Venezuela, just like Antonio Ledezma, both of them living in houses worth a high sum of money and wasting money on travels, food and more, without ever having worked, he stressed:

«Antonio Ledezma, is seen here drinking wine 2 days ago in Madrid, and lives in a residence of 3.5 million euros in the Barrio de Salamanca (Salamanca neighborhood) in Madrid (…) by the way, yesterday I saw a report on Antena 3 where it is indicated that it has increased in 17% the price of rents and real estate in the Salamanca neighborhood, and many Spaniards have had to move, because the corrupt Venezuelan thieves have bought properties in bulk in Salamanca», he explained.
