Yesterday, Monday, the Head of State announced the creation of the fund for the development of six productive regions, with an investment of 20 million Petros, equivalent to 1,200 million dollars, for the investment of regional projects in the agri-food and industrial areas.
The six strategic productive regions are:
1.-North-Western, (Falcón, Yaracuy, Lara and Zulia states)
2.-Central Western Plains (Apure, Barinas, Cojedes, Guárico and Portuguesa states)
3.-The Andean region, (Merida, Trujillo, Táchira states and some municipalities of Barinas and Apure states)
4.- Southeast Regions (Bolívar, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro states)
5.-North-Eastern, (Anzoategui, Monagas, Nueva Esparta and Sucre states)
6.-Central-Insular, (Aragua, Carabobo, Miranda, Vargas states, the Capital District and the Insular territories)
These announcements take place within the framework of the launch of the National Development Plan.
