Piñate: Petro recovered the Bolívar, and gives strength to salary of workers

“From its first month in force, the Economic Recovery Program through its anchoring to Petro, has given strength to the Bolivar and has recovered the purchasing power capacity of the salary of workers in Venezuela”.

This was stated on Thursday by the Minister of People’s Power for the Social Process of Work, Eduardo Piñate, during his participation in the “Dando y Dando-Radio” (Taking and Giving-Radio) program, broadcast by the RNV Informative channel, when referring to the policies implemented by the Bolivarian Government to establish clear options that liberate the salary of Venezuelans from the logic of the value of the dollar.

Before the misinformation campaign that some sectors of the right wing are trying to implement, the senior official recalled that with these new economic actions the salary of Venezuelan public and private workers increased approximately in a 6,000 percent:

“There have been established a series of salary tables that trace a path from the minimum wage, maintaining important premiums according to the law or collective agreements depending on the case, in addition all calculations will be made in fractions of Petro”, explained Piñate. He added that some concepts that were previously apart have now been added to the salary.
