ANC approved decree in support of President Maduro’s message to the UN

The National Constituent Assembly (ANC), approved on Tuesday a decree in support of the message brought by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations, in defense of Venezuela against the imperial aggressions.

This constituent agreement reaffirms the democratic, participatory, protagonist and multi-cultural position, as well as the rule of law that consolidates the values of freedom and independence, peace and solidarity for the common good in Venezuela.

In this regard, the president of the ANC, Diosdado Cabello, said that President Maduro brought to the UN the truth about Venezuela, to a tribune that has been used “by the head of imperialism and its closest servants in the Americas to lash against the country and threaten with the flags of intervention”.

He added that, after the presidential speech, those who have refused to see Maduro as Venezuelan Head of State, have realized that he was acknowledged at a worldwide level before the UN, as Constitutional President of the Republic.

In his speech, broadcast by ANTV, Cabello urged all the political adversaries of Maduro to unite, in order to consolidate Venezuela’s sovereignty and independence through work.

“That is why we invite you to come and join forces in the revolutionary struggle, to work for this country, everyone to push in the same direction. We have a president called Nicolás Maduro”, said Cabello, who also congratulated the Venezuelan Chancellor, Jorge Arreaza, “for being in all scenarios, battling for our Homeland”.

A President who defends dignity:

During the debate of this decree, the constituents in the Federal Legislative Palace gave their approval to the speech given by the National President to the UN, which they defined as a message that defended the dignity of Venezuelans:

“We are not only acknowledging a speech; we are acknowledging a gesture, a behavior. We are recognizing in the President of the Republic, the brave, major arms decision to go to that assembly to defend the dignity of Venezuela the way he defended it”, said the president of the Constitutional Commission of the ANC, Hermann Escarrá.

Given this, he reiterated that “The people of Venezuela acknowledges their President, elected by popular vote, and that is why we all support him”.

For his part, the vice president of the International Relations Committee of the Constituent Assembly, Saúl Ortega, emphasized that the participation of the first national President in the 73rd Assembly of the UN, held in New York, USA, represents the strengths of the political ideas of the Bolivarian revolution, “And that is a victory for the people of Venezuela and for all the peoples of the world”.
