1,695 Venezuelans have returned to the country with the Vuelta a la Patria Plan

A total of 1,695 have returned to the country through the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan, promoted by the National Executive, according to data from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

The most recent group of returnees arrived in the homeland of Bolívar this Saturday at 6:15 in the afternoon from Peru.

From the Inca country, have returned 100 nationals, 89 of them on August 28.

The largest number of Venezuelans has returned from Brazil, it is about 1,404, another 92 have returned to the Fatherland of Bolivar after living a bitter experience in Ecuador.

Five have returned from the Dominican Republic, two from Chile, one person has been repatriated from Colombia and another from Panama.

This Saturday, the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, when reporting on his Twitter account about the arrival of the 90 nationals from Peru, stressed that “the Air Bridge that President Nicolás Maduro instructed will remain active in several countries of Our Americas”.

It was on April 26, when the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, asked his Government team to make a special plan to support Venezuelans who have gone abroad, who have lost everything and want to return to their homeland to work.

The Vuelta a la Patria Plan aims to offer support and encouragement to fellow citizens who voluntarily express their desire to return to their homeland.
