Detained individuals with violent plans to break constitutional mandate

Several subjects have been arrested to date by the State’s security and intelligence agencies, after thwarting plans with the aim of breaking the constitutional mandate of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
Thus was announced by the Head of State himself in his speech commemorating the International Workers Day, held in Caracas. “There are plans to combine disorders of violence, we have several dozens of detainees and yesterday we captured some people with unsuspected intentions,” he said.
As it was known, armed men tried to take several buildings nearby the Plaza O’Leary, located in the Capitolio sector (Downtown Caracas), right where on the night of Saturday, April 30 would be held an act of an executive character.
He stressed that he has restrained himself in dealing with the issue, because he does not want to generate alarms on the citizenship.
“If they would provoke events, one way or the other, we -starting with me-, I will declare myself in total rebellion against the oligarchy and I would go to the fight in the streets, in the catacombs of the people”, said the President.
Maduro called for the cessation of war and interference, otherwise the working population will undertake a “general rebellion for a new revolution in America and in Venezuela”.
