ANC approves derogatory decree of Law on Exchange Illicits

The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) approved Thursday the derogation, raised by the national Executive, of the Law on Exchange Illicits, which is aimed at promoting investment and curbing the activity of operators who set an unrealistic price of foreign currency:

«It was approved the Law derogating the Regime of Exchange Illicits, Mr. Secretary, I will be thankful to you for sending this project as soon as possible to the Official Gazette for its publication, and for it to be valid throughout the national territory», said the president of the plenipotentiary power, Diosdado Cabello. .

The purpose of the derogatory of the law is to grant particulars, individuals and legal entities, the broadest guarantees for the performance of their participation in the economic participation model of the country, as explained the vice president for the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, during his speech.

In a session that began 11:00 am, Cabello also assured that all the currencies that are generated by this mechanism will be used for social investment.
