Venezuela and Dominica strengthen ties of cooperation and integration

With the aim of strengthening ties of cooperation and integration between Venezuela and Dominica, the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, met this Tuesday with the Prime Minister of this nation, Roosevelt Skerrit.

The information was released by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry on its Twitter account, in which wrote: “Within the framework of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, Chancellor Jorge Arreaza meets with the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, with the aim of strengthening the cooperation and integration mechanisms such as Petrocaribe and ALBA-TCP”.

The visit, said the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, is part of the work agenda that Arreaza undertook last June through Caribbean countries, “strengthening ties of cooperation and friendship with the Caribbean brothers”.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Skerrit reaffirmed the solidarity of his country with Venezuela, and expressed the intention to work together “to face the challenges that may arise”.
