ANC will hold special session in commemoration of July 5

The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) will hold a special session this Thursday to commemorate the 207th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Venezuela Act, which occurred on July 5, 1811.

The information was offered on Monday by the Chairman of the plenipotentiary body, Diosdado Cabello, who stressed that the activity will take place prior to the traditional civic-military parade, which will take place at the Los Próceres Monumental Stroll, located in Fort Tiuna, in Caracas.

From Wednesday, June 27, the components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and other civil organizations are undertaking the practices corresponding to the event, which will deploy land and air units used in work to protect the national territory.

The rehearsals, which will also include the participation of tactical units, will extend until Tuesday, July 3, according to information from the military institution.

This year, the Venezuelan people will commemorate the 207th anniversary since the Congress of Venezuela officially declared its separation from Spain through the Declaration of Independence Act, signed in the old Santa Rosa de Lima Chapel.
