The national authorities will announce in the coming days the cost of 15 items set in the agreed price boards that were formed last week, as reported on Monday the Vice President for Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istùriz.
He offered a balance of the occupation of the national and municipal markets where they detected irregularities in the cost structure:
“The balance has been very positive, all these actions continue and we have seen a decline in prices in these markets, a tendency to respect the agreed prices, also the board of agreed prices has been working throughout the week as you have seen, soon will be announced (the prices) of about 15 items”, he said after a meeting between sectorial Vice Presidents.
Last week began a journey to review and sincere the cost structure of 50 products and basic consumer goods, with the participation of different sectors related to agro-industry, distribution, marketing, among others.
Likewise, a process of intervention of 29 wholesale and municipal markets has begun with the purpose of fighting against mafias linked to smuggling, speculation and the illegal setting of prices of basic goods.
Istúriz added that during the meeting they evaluated the planning of the strategic boards of public services, habitat and productivity that will have the participation of all levels of the Government.
Rains balance:
He highlighted how the State has addressed the situation of the rains that have fallen in the country, a product of a tropical wave. The rainfalls mainly affected Carabobo, Amazonas and Táchira states.
He noted that in Carabobo 300 citizens were affected, and in Amazonas 100 people were transferred to shelters:
“In all these states there has been support by the Government at all levels. We have had to relocate compatriots, provide food, mattresses and all the support in some areas, and road transit has also been affected in some states”, Istúriz added.
He informed that in Miranda and Táchira states the roads were affected by the meteorological phenomenon, and he specified that the rains will continue in the coming days.
