The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted his defense of peace in the face of the violent plans of a small violent sector of the population.

“In the face of violent plans I invoke peace and I say to them, to all. If anything is worth the word of a Revolutionary son of (Hugo) Chávez, I forgive you and I call you to make a vow for peace, to abandon the path of conspiracy, of interventionism. I pray for peace, I struggle for peace”, he declared.

From the Bicentennial Square in Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, as part of a meeting with the Communard men and women of the country, the Head of State reiterated his position of dialogue with sectors of the opposition to consolidate the peace and stability of the Republic.

In the same order of ideas, he informed that in the coming days will continue the benefits to the people processed for political violence during 2014-2017.
