Bolivarian Government reaches agreements with public and private media in the country

The Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information Jorge Rodríguez, indicated from Miraflores Palace that the National President, Nicolás Maduro, as part of the new beginning for Venezuela, held important meetings, first with representatives of the public and private owned media.

“One of the most important issues addressed in this meeting has been that of the paper for the printed media, so it is proposed that they intervene in what is the acquisition of this item”, he said.

The Vice President of Communication and Culture stressed that he listened carefully to the reflections of the public and private media in the country.

“It’s about the qualification of the radio and television stations, good news for Globovisión and Venevisión (TV stations)”.

Rodríguez explained about the provision of important equipment for the continuity of the broadcast of these national media.

“You gave the order, and therefore together with Minister Reverol we will provide security to the equipment, antennas etc to be under guard, because they suffer a lot, especially the AM radios that often are victims of vandalism (due to the robbery of their) copper wire”, he reported.

Rodriguez noted that information was exchanged with the media about what is the north of President Maduro’s administration and that it was ratified massively on May 20.

Finally, the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro proposed a paper plant society with the public and private printed media of the country.
