Let us learn to listen to the clamor of the people who have faced difficulties of the war imposed in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Thursday that it is necessary to restructure the revolution and “learn to listen to the clamor of the people who have faced the difficulties of the war imposed in Venezuela”.

During the delivery of credentials to the National Constituent Assembly as re-elected President for the 2019-2025 term he indicated that a “deep rectification, a deep relearning is necessary. We must do things again and better. We are not doing things right, and we have to change this country”.

He expressed that the people have been constant in the struggle despite the constant onslaught of the international right wing through the economic war imposed on the national territory.

“The time of imperialist harassment that we have had to live is due to our loyalty to the revolutionary process (…) I ask for the national union for the true economic recovery of the country”, he said.

He also explained that, as he said during his campaign, he will establish a permanent dialogue with all sectors to guarantee peace in the national territory. “I ask for your help and support, it is enough that they try to sabotage the path of Venezuela.”
“We are making history, a new history, because in Venezuela there is a peaceful, constitutional revolution, in the constituent stage, creating and channeling the forces of the nation through democratic and peaceful ways”, he said.
