Maduro will call a national dialogue after the elections of MAY-20

The candidate for the Ample Front of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Monday that after the upcoming victory on May 20 he will once again call for a national dialogue in the Dominican Republic.

“Once the people of Venezuela exercise their sovereignty and elect me as President in the historic elections of next Sunday, May 20, I will immediately convene a great national dialogue for peace”, he said during a meeting with the education sector in the Poliedro de Caracas.

He stressed that he asked the support of the President of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, to host the great political dialogue: “for the peace and stability of Venezuela.”

“Dialogue is what Venezuela wants, peace is what we want,” he said at the time he asked for the support of the Venezuelan people in this process.

He reiterated that the North American empire insists on imposing on Venezuela its dominance and preventing the elections, in that sense, he emphasized that, in Venezuela, the Venezuelans decide.

“Come rain, shine or lightning, in Venezuela there will be elections on May 20”, he said.
