Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Venezuela

At 9:45 pm on Sunday, the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abás, arrived in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Upon his arrival at ramp 4 of the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Vargas state, the Palestinian leader was welcomed by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, and by the Palestine Ambassador in Venezuela, Linda Sobeh Ali.

The visit of the Palestinian leader will begin this Monday and will culminate next Tuesday, in order to evaluate with different political actors the strengthening of the relations between both nations that have been maintained since 2009.

Both countries maintain cooperation agreements in the areas of education, economy, trade, energy, agriculture, culture, tourism, communication, sports, defense, security and health.
