USA lacks moral attribute to appear as judge in Human Rights matters (Official Communiqué)

The Government of Venezuela rejected the Country Report on the Human Rights Practice 2017 issued by the United States Department of State.

Through an Official Statement issued by the Venezuelan chancellery was warned that the North American country lacks moral or legal attribute to appear as a judge, when it has been historically recognized for violating the human rights of the Peoples.

“The American supremacist and xenophobic regime lacks any moral or legal attribute to present itself as a judge in the defense of the human rights of the Peoples when its own national and international practice characterizes it as one of the main historical violators of human rights. The US Government promotes genocidal wars and feeds ruthless conflicts for economic and geopolitical interests, in which civilian populations suffer the full violation of all their human rights”, reads part of the communiqué.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the Country Report on the Human Rights Practice 2017 issued by the Department of State of the United States of America, as well as the practice of trying to qualify other countries and use the human rights issue for purposes of politicians to advance their imperial interests.

The American supremacist and xenophobic regime lacks any moral or legal attribute to present itself as a judge in the defense of the human rights of the Peoples when its own national and international practice characterizes it as one of the main historical violators of human rights. The US Government promotes genocidal wars and feeds ruthless conflicts for economic and geopolitical interests, in which civilian populations suffer the complete violation of all their human rights.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounces once again, before the international community, the manipulation of the United States of America’s human rights regime with the sole objective of promoting the campaign of aggression and delegitimization of the national powers to justify its policy of “change of Government”.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms to the world its unwavering commitment to the promotion, protection, respect and integral defense of human rights.
