We can not accept other countries giving opinion about Venezuela

“Venezuela cannot tolerate other countries’ giving opinions on the internal affairs of the nation”, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, when asked about the declarations of foreign Governments not to recognize a new Presidential mandate to be elected in the elections of the May 20th.

“What foreign Governments say does not matter to us at all, they said the same of the elections to the National Constituent Assembly and there it is working, it is unprecedented and ridiculous that foreign Governments say they will not accept Venezuela’s internal elections” , he stressed from the Maiquetía International Airport, in Vargas state, at a press conference he offered for the national and international media.

The Head of State stressed that his aspirations are that next Sunday, May 20, the Venezuelan people goes out to vote in a massive way.

“All I want is for the Venezuelan people to vote, on May 20, the Constitution mandates to call for presidential elections this year (…) Venezuela will emerge triumphant from the Presidential elections”, he concluded.
