Chancellor Arreaza held a meeting with his counterpart from Trinidad and Tobago

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, held on Thursday afternoon a meeting with his counterpart from Trinidad and Tobago, Dennis Moses, with whom he discussed different issues, among which he highlighted the challenges faced by the Governments and peoples of the region before the imperial onslaught.

In that sense, Chancellor Moses pleaded for peace and the right to self-determination of peoples.

“The problems in the region must be addressed without necessarily involving measures that do not correspond to this region of peace,” he said in statements to the media, and published by the Venezuelan Chancellory on Twitter.

At the meeting, which is part of the work tour carried out since last February 1st by the Venezuelan Chancellor for Latin America and the Caribbean, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago also strengthened ties of friendship and cooperation.

“We hope that in the near future we can further strengthen the ties between our peoples,” said the Trinidad and Tobago diplomat, quoted by the Venezuelan Chancellory in the social network.
