Chairwoman of the ANC: Venezuela is the victim of an international multiform aggression

The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, during an interview with journalist José Vicente Rangel, said that Venezuela is the victim of an international media siege that tries to justify that the imperial countries such as the United States, those that make up the Union European and other servile Governments in Latin America intervene militarily against the sovereignty and peace of the Venezuelan people.

“Venezuela is an example of dignity for Latin America because of our strength and how the sovereignty of the country is defended, for the moment we are being subjected to an international media siege in order to intervene us, but we have shown that they will not be able to do so,” she added.

He explained that the Bolivarian Government has dismantled the plans from abroad of an aggression against the Venezuelan people through the intelligence services of the imperial countries.

She rejected the fact that Venezuelan opponents ask for the intervention of the country: “That project is anti-national” and has the objective of cracking constitutionality and democratic institutions through sabotage and the application of manuals that have served to overthrow sovereign Governments: “But that, in the case of Venezuela , thanks to the conscience of the great majority of its people, they have failed progressively”.

During the interview on the “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, she recalled that recently the head of the CIA (US intelligence agency) confirmed that they are responsible for the most recent sanctions that the Donald Trump Government has applied against the Venezuelan people.

The head of the ANC stressed that in the face of the ongoing imperial siege it is necessary to maintain confidence in the patriotic will of the Venezuelan people and their conscience awake, to defend their right to live in an independent country, sovereign and willing to be free of any attempt to foreign domination.
