Pdte Maduro: I hope the opposition keeps its word and goes to elections

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the Venezuelan opposition to take the democratic path: “May they keep their word and go to elections, they already have four candidates”, he said.

From the Bolívar Square in Caracas, in a meeting with women, the national leader sent a message to the Venezuelan opposition: “Have a word, I wait for you in the Dominican Republic at the dialogue table, let’s go to the elections (…) either you run or face up, in these elections we will defeat you with votes”, he said.

Finally, the Head of State created the Homeland Campaign Command of Women, appointing the revolutionary leader Blanca Eekhout as head of this new command for the presidential elections to be held in the country this first quarter of 2018.
