The Foreign Ministers of Bolivia, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, together with the Dominican President, Danilo Medina, and the former head of the Spanish Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, met on Thursday in the Dominican Republic to define the new dates of the dialogue process between the Bolivarian Government and the opposition of Venezuela.
The information was made known at a press conference by the Director of Communications of the Dominican Republic Foreign Ministry, Hugo Beras, who explained that «will review, defining and determining what will be the most convenient date to resume the dialogue in the shortest possible time».
For this January 18, a new meeting between representatives of the Government and the opposition was convened, after it took place on January 11, 12 and 13.
This process, which seeks to reach a definitive agreement to consolidate peace and stability in Venezuela, follows the more than 338 calls for dialogue made by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
