Chancellor Arreaza repudiated US actions to boycott dialogue

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Veneuzela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced and repudiated the interventionist actions of the United States Government – through its Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Thomas Shannon – as part of the maneuvers with which it attempts to boycott the Dialogue process between the Bolivarian Government and the opposition, which takes place in the Dominican Republic.

Through his account in Twiter @jaarreaza, he contrasted the democratic, independent and peace vocation of the Venezuelan State with the imperialist maneuvers to prevent dialogue as a way to consolidate peaceful coexistence.

The Head of the National Government’s delegation, Jorge Rodríguez, repudiated the actions carried out by different members of the team of US President Donald Trump, whose purpose is to block the dialogue process.

However, Rodriguez indicated that the talks are very close to reaching a definitive agreement for coexistence and peace.

«The statements by Thomas Shannon in Madrid are revealing: He travels to give direct orders to the European Union to continue attacking Venezuela. It would be sad if the EU continues submitting to Donald Trump’s interventionist, racist and warmongering directions»

«Mr. Shannon is wasting his time. For more efforts the spokesmen of the US Government make to torpedo the dialogue and to generate conditions of violence, the Venezuelan people will defend their INDEPENDENCE and PEACE that we have consolidated thanks to our constituent democracy».
